The Dread Council
The Black Hold
The Dread Council is the leadership of the Society of Silence, however the actual governorship of the Society has
little to do with them. The Stalkers have allies among the evil mercenaries, independent clans of the dark races,
bands of monsters, intelligent undead, giants, dragons and even darkly aligned nobility. The Black Market which supplies them
is merely a loose network of immoral merchants and exotic traders. The Black Hold is considered the home of the Society,
and is where the Council meets on occasion yet it is occupied by only two of the Dread Stalkers. Misery City, hidden
below the capital of the kingdom, is the home of three of the Dread Stalkers and considered the Council's true home.
